We are spending ENTIRELY too much time in this hotel room.  It’s quite depressing

So, about the pictures.   I have been having trouble getting them off my camera. Working on it.  Anyway, it was an odd night.  Hunter, Arty, and I spent hours upon hours playing Meteos on our DSs, and Paul and Leland were the first to go to sleep.. and took over the WHOLE BEDS.  Paul left a little bit of room on the one, and I tried to claim it, and succeeded for about an hour.  But then he somehow managed to knock me out of bed.   Wow.  Anyway, after a night of everyone but Paul and Leland sleeping on the floor, Paul and I went to collect our badges.  4 hours in line later, we got ’em, and headed for the dealer’s room.   And we couldn’t MOVE.  So we decided to wait until the initial   Now, for like the last 3 hours we’ve been playing phone tag trying to arrange a lunch meeting with Tenshi  and everyone, as well as try to get tickets for the AMV contest.  Jesse managed to get half as many AMV tickets as we needed, but fortunately not everyone really wants to go that badly.   So right now, Hunter, Arty, Jason, Jesse, Paul and I are sitting in the room, watching anime on  Arty’s X-Box, waitng for Tenshi to finish whatever she’s doing right now.   Leland is out at the first round of AX Idol.   And that’s all I can think of to say for now.   Still working on the camera problem.  Very annoying.

As I type this, I’m on my way to ANIME EXPO 2005, but by the time it gets online I’ll already be there.  Damned lack of internet access on airplanes.  As I said before- check  for the “live as it’s happening” AX report.  I already wrote my first entry, it’ll probably go up at around the same time as this.  Both are, of course, backdated.

I’m veeeeery excited. If anyone wants to read about the adventures of the group i’m going with, check out  (and hey, maybe this year it’ll actually get updated).  Of course, i’m sure 90% of you reading this already knew about that.   There will DEFINITELY be pictures, and maybe videos.

I’m watching the first volume of Pee Wee’s Playhouse on DVD. Surprisingly, this series has held up really well. Yes, it’s remarkably stupid, but it was ALWAYS remarkably stupid. That doesn’t make it any less entertaining. I’m just surprised that it doesn’t come off as more.. dated, I guess. I could easily see this being aired today.
