Got the Battlestar Galactica collection for Christmas, and I just finished watching the first episode. I’d forgotten how much I like this series… makes me hope even more that the miniseries that Sci-Fi channel showed a few weeks ago does end up becoming a regular series.
I never really stopped to think about it until recently, but this series is REALLY dark. I mean, its all about the last vestiges of humanity fleeing from a race of beings intent on the total extinction of the human race. At first I was a bit upset that the mini-series had less “comic relief,” but now that I give it some thought it was really out of place in the original series. I’m really looking forward to the new ongoing series.
