Hangin with the <a href=”http://www.scifi.com/ghosthunters”>Ghost Hunters</a>
So, I spent this weekend up in State College at a Paranormal Investigations convention. As part of the event, there was a dinner with Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson from TAPS, stars of the Sci-Fi Channel show Ghost Hunters. Had a chance to speak with them for a little bit, and they were pretty cool. Really down-to-earth, very friendly. I was already a fan, but now I think i’m gonna start watching the show religiously.

Um, why?
I read the story of the coelocanth in elementary school.
The archyteuthis was proven to exist not many years ago. (Due to the lack of evidence and the primary proponent seriously screwing with the data, there is ongoing debate on whether the mesonyteuthis exists).
Due to the work of a single man, we now know that ulcers are not caused by stress but by H Pylori.
My point is, if conclusive evidence of ghosts (or precognition, psychometry, OBEs, NDEs, etc) were found, it would be splashed across the front pages and lead every news program.
If no evidence is found, you’ve got a show featuring some people running around with mundane sensing and recording equipment.
